How long will my appointment last?


New appointments start at 25 minutes at Sussex Premier Health and 40 minutes at Old Orchard Consulting Rooms

Follow-up appointments are 15 minutes or 20 minutes as required.

We will be able to offer appointments at the weekend, this will be updated soon April 2025

No, you do not need to have private insurance to use our GP service. If you are insured, please check with your insurer that they will reimburse any costs you incur.

No, we are not currently aligned with any insurance providers for packaged appointments or pre-paid services.

You will be contacted by email for payment by our secure online payment platform.

Providing payment is received before 4pm Monday to Friday, medication will be dispatched to arrive at the patient’s door the following day before 1pm.

There is no paper prescription or signed prescription required.

Pharmacy Dispense and Deliver

Once the GP has created and authorised the prescription, an automated email and text will be sent to the patient informing them there is a prescription waiting for them and requesting them to pay for the medication via a secure link to our payment page.

Once payment has been received the prescription will be released into our dispensing queue for processing. Dispatch will be by the chosen service.

All orders released for dispensing before 3pm will be dispatched on the same day. Certain medicines can be difficult to obtain and patients will be contacted directly to advise of any delay to their order.

Once paid for, the prescription will be checked by a pharmacist, and then dispensed and dispatched to the patient’s delivery address.

Most prescriptions will be dispatched the same day payment is received.

DPD Next day (Monday to Friday) delivery £6.95

DPD Next Day before Noon is £9.20

DPD Saturday is £9.75

Royal Mail 24 Tracked is £5.60 (This is a 1-3 day service)

Royal Mail Special delivery (including Saturday) is £9.50

Do you dispense CD prescriptions ?

Yes, CloudRx dispense CD prescriptions and have a license to dispense those written by private prescribers on FP10PCD. These are pink prescriptions however it is a legal requirement that we have to be in receipt of the hard copy prescription before we can dispatch the medicines.

Minimum dispensing fee?

The current prescription charge is £9.35 per item.

You can collect from any pharmacy in the UK). Not all pharmacies might be familiar with the process however you would need to advise them that this is a SignatureRx prescription.

All prescriptions issued through SignatureRx are private, meaning the NHS does not subsidise them.

The pharmacy will charge you the price of the medication plus a dispensing fee; on some occasions, this could be cheaper than the standard NHS charge, or on others, it might be more

Pre-payment certificates and other NHS exemptions are not valid for our prescriptions.

A prescription ID code will be sent to you by email and SMS. Use this at any local pharmacy; you will also have the option to have medication delivered.

No. Our private GP service is separate from your NHS GP and there is no need to de-register from your local GP practice.

Please enquire first regarding specific medical checks, for example for the DVLA or a visa application and we can advise if we can help you. 

We do not provide specialist assessment or medication support for ADHD / ASD at this time.  

We don’t offer repeat prescriptions, except where we have initiated treatment, or (exceptionally) in an emergency.

We do not offer emergency or response care and advise you ring 111 for any urgent need. We do see acute health conditions for example bronchitis but at scheduled times.

No, we don’t perform minor surgery.

Yes, we provide private GP appointments to self-funded overseas patients who may be visiting the UK for work or tourism.

Each GP has appropriate and comprehensive medical indemnity cover for clinical and professional requirements.
